The Reachspace Database features a broad variety of reachspace images. Here, we display examples from some of the categories sampled in the database.

 

The four labels next to the images indicate some properties of each category. The first label refers to the broad setting that the reachspace is associated with (e.g. hotel or home). The second label refers to the room this reachspace is sampled from (e.g. dining room, or bedroom). The third label indicates the main surface or locus of interaction of the reachspace (e.g. table or counter). Finally, the fourth label indicates the activity that this particular reachspace type supports. Taken together, these four labels help describe the identity of a reachspace in a way that informs expectations of its appearance, function, and contents. See our paper for more detail!
